At Vanni Hope, we are honoured to support the academic aspirations of C. Bavithra, a dedicated student at the University of Moratuwa, pursuing a degree in Business Science. Bavithra's family, residing in Pattim, Mannar, faces significant economic challenges. Her father, a daily wage labourer, has been deeply affected by the current economic crisis, leading to scarce job opportunities. Her mother, a housewife, and Bavithra, along with her sister, live in her cousin's home, struggling to cope with the escalating cost of living. Despite these hardships, Bavithra's determination to continue her education is unwavering. Our scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden on her family and ensure that poverty does not hinder her educational journey. We believe in empowering students like Bavithra, enabling them to pursue their dreams and contribute positively to their communities.
