Kivaharani's family, hailing from the Northern Province in Mannar, faces substantial economic challenges. Her father, a daily wage labourer, and mother, a housewife, along with her two sisters, one studying at the University of Jaffna and the other pursuing Advanced Level studies, are grappling with the current economic crisis, making it challenging to support Kivaharani's educational pursuits. Our scholarship aims to relieve the financial burden on her family and ensure Kivaharani can focus on her studies, aspiring to contribute significantly to her community as a healthcare professional.
