At Vanni Hope, we're proud to support Y. Rishani Pradeepa in her educational journey. Rishani, studying Information Communication Technology at the University of Kelaniya, comes from a family facing considerable challenges. Residing in Torrington estate, Agarapathana, she lost her father to a heart attack, and her mother, a farmer, struggles with agriculture in their village. With a sister and brother still in school, the family has faced hardships due to the current economic crisis and rising cost of living. They live in an estate house and do not receive the Mahapola Scholarship, further compounding their financial difficulties. Our support for Rishani is an investment in her potential to contribute significantly to the tech sector, driving innovation and development in Sri Lanka.
