His father, a carpenter and heart patient, struggles with inconsistent work due to his illness, while his mother, a housewife, and a younger brother in the GCE Advance level Maths stream, rely on the limited family income. Vimarsan's pursuit of higher education in Geomatics is not just a personal ambition; it represents hope and potential for his community.
